The Quacktones were the house band for a crazy dinner circus show in Germany called Pomp Duck and Circumstance. In 2001 we decided to make an album that reflected our madcap eclecticism, including a few tunes we played in the show but mostly original work that we rarely got a chance to play- except on occasional days off we would play in the converted engine room of a houseboat on the river Main.
